You should know the difference between Android TV Box and Android TV. This Xiaomi is an official Google certified Android TV which means you get updates and support for your apps, Chromecast works very well but on the other hand the Android TV box doesn't offer updates or support for your apps like Netflix I have bought another android tv box last year what a waste of money. I wish I knew about this sooner. I highly recommend you update to Android 9.0 before installing anything, it's the fastest Android TV on the market but for just $50 really smooth.
