Review on 🗺️ TomTom GO 510 4-Inch Portable GPS Navigator with Bluetooth (Discontinued by Manufacturer) by Chris Hart

I am writing to alert readers to problems with the GO 510 and with TomTom's customer service. Possibly due to their decision to put the entire US and Canada on the same SD, they appear to have reduced the number of points of interest (POIs). Missing shops for example. Try to find somewhere near a friend's house to buy a bottle of wine or a book and you'll be out of luck. I don't know what else was removed from the previous version. The cards are also affected. The latest maps can't find the address I've favored for years; the house number is not calculated. And forget about customer service. I was having trouble downloading new maps, an issue I won't go into here, except that the system crashed and I couldn't restore the backup without directly deleting the files on the SD card. But tech support is closed on weekends (why do you need a working GPS on weekends?). I could go on, but as a previous happy owner, I recommend getting something other than a TomTom - whatever. Henry
