Not knowing what to wear under a bulletproof vest, I read about it and received five of them a while ago and am very satisfied. So today I'm ordering five more and now I don't have to do laundry every weekend. This stuff works quite well. In fact, sometimes too well. The air-conditioned room right on the edge of my bulletproof vest feels cool. The antimicrobial properties are impressive. At the end of the day when I get home I take off my vest and it's wet on the inside but dry on the outside so I put the wet side up to dry and can wear the same vest for up to a week. . The thermals themselves got wet too, and I couldn't imagine putting them back on without washing them. At first I had five waistcoat straps that I washed every day because I was afraid they would break. Because the vest itself is cleaned once a week, it's usually not necessary to change the wearer more than once or twice a week. Just as coldgear allows me to comfortably go to work without a jacket in winter, heatgear allows me to walk at my normal pace with protective vests in summer.
