I'm an automotive technician. I know better than to save, but I did it anyway. The first car I tried it on was a Chevy Cruz. He just hissed at the air on the choke. It was obvious that the fittings were badly glued to the lids. I want to take a picture If you're only using it on one machine you might get lucky, but I wouldn't risk it.
