I wasn't expecting much from a cheap pressure test kit but as this one doesn't even hold pressure it's practically useless. I kept it because getting things back can be a problem and I'll probably be able to use some of the adapters one day.

Pressure test carried out, truck out of service. I pulled a vacuum to fill the coolant, the vacuum dropped to half the recommended level. Now I know I need a new head gasket. I'm very glad that after thirty years I finally have a quick and accurate way to check the cooling system!

Nice set! Tons more adapters than I'll ever need, even working in a shop. I chose this set mainly because it also came with a vacuum filler. Mine includes instructions if you are unfamiliar with how these tools work. Paid for itself the first time it was used. You won't find a better set in this price range.

I'm an automotive technician. I know better than to save, but I did it anyway. The first car I tried it on was a Chevy Cruz. He just hissed at the air on the choke. It was obvious that the fittings were badly glued to the lids. I want to take a picture If you're only using it on one machine you might get lucky, but I wouldn't risk it.

Replaced the radiator on the car. Used to add coolant. It was nice. This tool created a vacuum in the coolant system and then held it for 10 minutes to ensure there were no leaks. Then just let the coolant system pull the antifreeze through the tool. Filled up immediately. I started the car and as soon as the thermostat opened I waited for the coolant level to drop. I didn't think it would be so great. The thing works great. Yes, you have to swap heads, but if you have more than one car, that's great. I have a 2004 Ford Expedition and a 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan. I bought this because I needed it. I had to pressurize the system and will be using a brand new gauge and #1 only has a metric nipple and I don't have a quick coupler. now i have to buy it. #2 I'm looking at the device and the person who glued this thing together didn't care how they did it. Great tool! I mainly use it on bikes because of the tight spots around the radiator cap and some bikes have been known to get air stuck in the system without making a few attempts at burping and refilling. , all air is pumped out and replaced only by refrigerant (overheating from air pockets is not a pleasant experience). My only caveat with this system is that I recommend removing each connection and wrapping it with Teflon tape to ensure the connections don't leak over time. I also replaced…
