Review on Pacon White Drawing Paper, Standard Weight, 12x18, 500 Sheets - P4742 by Shantel Griffin

Revainrating 4 out of 5

If you're looking for thicker paper, keep looking.

The paper is large but very thin. Imagine regular copier paper, but bigger. I was under the impression that a 47-50 pound paper would be thick (er) with a reasonable tooth, but I was wrong. But that doesn't mean it's completely bad in terms of price and quantity. There is enough space to draw here, which is a godsend instead of a good sketchbook, and you don't have to worry about running out of space soon or wasting it. However, the pen glides easily on paper compared to a thicker pen with more texture and doesn't work well with charcoal. However, it is shockingly thin. I'm afraid of throwing up, although so far this has not happened. Very prone to corner creases and wrinkling due to size. This is to be expected without a good desk or storage space.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • I don't remember
