Review on πŸš‚ Wood Trick Railway Set: Wooden Train Toy by Josh Flanagan

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Gears didn't budge when attempted. Toothpicks are bad axes!

Gears will not stay in place when using small socket pins. Jump out again and again. The measuring device leaves something to be desired in terms of the exact length of the toothpick for fastening parts, especially gears. Testing the engine with a rubber band turned out to be useless. Unfortunately the belts snapped without moving the gears. WHY! TODAY: Seller has not contacted seller about missing sheet #1. I will call Revain to return remaining sheets. UPDATE: December 17th: NOBODY contacted me about missing sheets. However, we bought one! The locomotive is ready. As I suspected, the thin #16 rubber bands do NOT move gears! If I could I would rate it 0 stars. UPDATE: 12./18: Locomotive gears that are ready to run do not work! Rubber bands are so cheap that even without the drive wheels attached, they move terribly with the slightest load. This is WITHOUT the added car. We knew it would most likely happen! NEVER again, WoodTrick. UPDATE 3/5/2020: I had no idea this seller left a comment until I decided to take a look. This model lies in my basement with a rag thrown over it - it will most likely be thrown away - what a waste of my hard-earned dollars! I remember aligning and realigning gears to actually make this pathetic thing work. Such models, which are inaccurate in terms of the fit of moving parts, will always present problems for any builder. Now it has become a dust collector in my basement!
