Unsatisfactory quality, I wont buy it anymore.

I chose a mouse for a long time and decided to stop at the Razer Viper Mini. And I chose not by design or marketing characteristics, but by a detailed review of disassembling the mouse into parts on some sites. I looked at everything and I was satisfied with the design, the buttons are really reliable, the sensor is more or less normal, although the separation height is high, but I'm used to it. The body grip is comfortable, but for a small hand. But in the end I miscalculated all the same in some things. In what? Mouse wheel encoder from Kailh 9mm, I knew this before buying (and my experience shows that Kailh canโ€™t do anything good: no buttons, no encoders) - so it turned out, after 2 months of using the mouse, the wheel became buggy, namely, a sharp scroll down causes spontaneous jerking of the scroll up, with slow scrolling - there is no problem yet. That's all, it means that the encoder is about to be changed. Googled the problem on reddit and saw that this happens to many in the west! Haha, thank you Razer(y) for partnering with Kailh! It makes you want to drop the letter "i" from the name. The mouse software is the Razer Synapse program - just monstrous inconvenient and takes up a lot of memory. Fortunately, this software is needed for 1 time and can be permanently deleted or removed from startup. Oh yeah, are you tired of reading this? At the end of the review, Iโ€™ll say that I have 2 such mice, on my different PCs, the wheel of the first one is already buggy, letโ€™s see what the second one will have in the near future. I will not change under warranty, because. bought it from our Chinese friends. I wonโ€™t write about the pros, here and so people have painted all the pros, and I agree with many, there are pluses and I even like a lot about this mouse, I will refine it myself. As they say, I bought and finalized it with a "file", but where now without it? The mouse is definitely not worth the money that they ask for it in stores. In general, 2/5 points, but how much more? The encoder should not break so quickly, on cheap mice it works without problems for 2-3 years! I will put TTC or ALPS, and Kailh (y) I wish to go bankrupt someday!

Pros
  • Lightweight and small, almost eternal LMB and RMB optical buttons, good PMW3359 sensor in terms of accuracy, minimum backlight, good glide.
Cons
  • The scroll wheel, namely the encoder, is bad, the case is only for a small hand, the glide is thin, the separation height is large, in the center under the sensor instead of the glide is plastic, the wire is soft like noodles - uncomfortable, the paracord is free on it, and not tight, the monstrous Razer Synapse software creates 3-4 processes in memory!
