This is what I've noticed over the past few months using this adapter, the tendency is gradually developing to come loose from the 3.5mm jack more and more easily. It does a great job of allowing my pair of Fostex to fit the laptop and does a great job of not putting much pressure on the headphone jack. There's some disruption when you move the cord, but not when you're just walking around while connected to your phone. This usually happens when I need to move cables and the connections twist in place. Not bad overall, but since I've only had it a short time and it comes out of the headphone jack on its own with more ease, I'm not sure about its longevity.
