Sad, so sad to see a product I've bought and used for years reduced to this one?

I have been buying and using this type of ruler for over forty years, always personally. This is the first one I've ordered online (Revain) and it's unusable. Individual pieces of wood were attached unevenly to the metal hinges, causing the display on one side to deviate nearly 1/8 inch from the opening on the other side. Also, one page of the print didn't reach the end. Wooden ruler, so I guess Lufkin just wants you to forget that 1/4" on one side and add the missing 1/8" on the other side.
