Easy to keep in the car for bird watching

I bought this in high hopes that it would work well with my phone. It's not like this. First you need to remove the case from the phone, and then you need the surgeon's hands to thin the screen over the opening of the phone. If you put it up, the bird you wanted to photograph will already be moving home for the winter. However, I gave up my phone and threw the monocular in the truck. We were observing a family of owls and there were people with cameras that cost more than my truck so I just stayed and grabbed a monocular and the view was great! It doesn't zoom in as advertised, but it improves the view enough to really appreciate what you're looking at. I've used it several times since then and love it. My 7 year old grandson asked if he could take it with him when he went to the forest. For the price I had no problem taking it. Even if he dropped it, I think he'd be fine.
