I once forgot to read the reviews. Bad product

I didn't read the reviews and now I blame myself. I was expecting to get a lot of different colors, not a bunch of the same bright colors, variegated threads, and black and white. It doesn't contain the dark (forest) greens or blues that I need for my current project (it doesn't contain pastels). It's not DMC, which is what I wanted, but I wouldn't mind if it was softer and had a greater variety of colors. This thread is not soft. I bought the Caydo last time and I prefer it 100%. I always read reviews. except apparently this time.
