Having lost or misplaced my sewing scissors I took a chance and bought these. Great concept but I don't like them. Thin plastic cases that can break with frequent use. The handles are in the OPEN position and would be difficult/dangerous to store without the plastic sleeve. The cutting action is good but not precise enough for my extra fine crochet or bead cuts (the blades are too big for the cuts I need). Your mileage may vary. I tried to return them but all options were either too far to travel or additional fees were charged,
