Great for brewing

If you are using this because like me you want to make sake, just note that this is for making koji which is one of the ingredients needed to make rice sourdough are needed, not the sake itself. It's not actually a sake yeast, you'll still need it at your local beer store or elsewhere. The instructions on the back of this packet are probably for convenience, but I used the more detailed instructions I found online. This packet is probably good for 2-3 batches (you don't need the whole packet if you mix your rice with your fingers every 12 hours) and to keep the temperature warm I placed one of my baking pans on a seed warmer that held the Temperature around 90 degrees. Once the mold starts to grow, it heats up to around 102-404 degrees and after around 40 hours, puts it in the fridge to stop the growth. I've made two batches with this and could probably get another one of these.
