really wanted to like it but it just didn't fit the bill

definitely disappointed with this mic. The main reason I bought it was that it had a mute button. back then i had a laptop with a built in microphone on the keyboard and you could hear the fan running through it and it was making a loud noise so i needed an external microphone. The mute button was the most important for me because I would have long Skype sessions with someone I loved far away and often she would fall asleep at some point during the late night talks and we sort of just napped together, but I had a dog who barked at whatever i needed, something i could turn off so as not to disturb him or mute the sound if someone came into the room to ask me something. The quality of it quickly disappeared. It worked for a short time when I first got it and then one day it just stopped working properly, it barely heard me through even when I was close enough to bite the foam. it's definitely not worth the price. I'd rather pay $100 for a blue Yeti, which is amazing quality and can also be used for recording vocals, than the $50 I spent on a stick that barely works.

Pros
  • finally bought it
Cons
  • slightly dented
