I really don't understand people who write reviews on this product and complain about the lack of instructions. Yes, I agree the instructions make it a little easier, but it's a meat grinder. The mechanism is basically the same. If you complain about measurements, then you have no one to blame but yourself. I'm a novice woodworker and this wasn't difficult. Grab a pair of calipers (which you'd better have if you sharpen) and take the various measurements you need of the mechanism. If you don't have the exact size of the bit, use a bevel or splitting tool and make any necessary adjustments to your inside diameters. Overall a great product. Instructions would be nice, but certainly not necessary.
