Poor quality but nice looks

I bought these handles for some doors that were thicker than the average cabinet so the screws provided weren't long enough. I just assumed I would buy longer bolts but they have to be metric and I couldn't find any longer bolts for them. I found a place to use them but the metal is so soft to the touch that one of them broke when tightening and they seem to come loose easily. I think you get what you pay for. They look good sometimes and mine aren't in high traffic areas so I'm sure they'll last a while but I'd hesitate to put them somewhere that has widespread use.
