This truck caused us a lot of trouble. While driving on the street, the zipper almost completely came undone. Luckily other drivers saw it and told us. We had to use a luggage lock to prevent the zipper from opening. After driving the first day, when we tried to remove the trunk from the roof, we found that it was full of holes. In the event of rain, the carrier would leak in many places. Also, we had to purchase additional ratchet straps to keep it secure. I cannot recommend this product. If the company thinks it was installed incorrectly, I can guarantee my husband is the type of person to read all the instructions for anything before using it. He was completely disappointed with this product and we threw it away when we got to our destination. It's definitely not worth the money. Too bad I didn't photograph all the holes before throwing them away.
