Bluetooth backward compatible

I had a different brand OBD2 sensor on my motorcycle which I use with the Car Scanner app with a tablet as a dashboard, but it is slow and sometimes freezes. I chose this one because it's a great price, I've put about 30 miles on my bike with it and it seems to work great. Bluetooth is compatible with my old tablet, connects quickly and seems quick to read, I haven't had any freezes or freezes yet. I might buy another one to have on my bike all the time.
