I wanted to love this product but couldn't. It gets thick and doesn't really move when you apply it to the edges, but the amount of product needed to achieve this effect leaves a white sticky residue when you connect the edges to the braids. I didn't notice any glitter either. My edges looked dull. THE BIGGEST DIFFERENCE If you thought you would turn on this edge control and omit the edges for maximum effect, you are seriously mistaken. Not once, not twice, but for almost a week I went to bed undid my ends only to find my baby hairs moving as if I hadn't applied anything to hold them in place. If you're using Hick's in a white tin, just stick with it.
