It doesn't have software to scan hardcover books, but it does scan almost everything else.

This is an excellent visualizer. In fact, I returned it and bought the next model just because the program didn't have the ability to scan hardcover books. When you need to scan unbound documents quickly and reliably. It is extremely portable, easy to install, if you don't have a floppy drive the software is available on the website.
