I am another customer who has had spoiled milk due to these filters. I couldn't understand why our milk was so terrible and we couldn't drink it. I turned down one bitch because I thought she just had bad milk. When my spring fallow deer also had the same nasty milk, I realized I had a problem and started isolating her. They were filters. They don't smell in the packaging, but when milk runs through them, the milk becomes bitter and has a metallic taste. I threw away those filters and now my milk is sweet and tasty.
