Review on πŸ‘š Ultimate Closet Organization: Ziploc Big Bags Clothes and Blanket Storage Bags XL - Protects from Moisture, Dust, and Pests (4 Count) by Larry Cole

All around just TERRIBLE!

Save yourself the headache. If you use it for clothes/soft stuff, a real zipper ziploc bag is better. If you're transporting a turkey, good luck, the zippers come undone and there are holes in the sides. If you're using them for something that needs to stay airtight and watertight, this item isn't for you. Zippers that are so difficult to close just won't stay closed. I use them in the freezer and they get so much air in that the zipper just pops open like they do in their little gallon ziploc bags. Now I remember why I stopped buying them. They get so stiff and wrinkled that you can't even stack the extra bag on top to make a proper chest freezer as after a few days the plastic gets so stiff that the top/empty half of the bag can't even be folded! What nonsense is this? They do not have to certify that they are suitable for freezing! So many flaws, I can't even imagine how these are still being sold. I just went to Wally World two days ago and saw a hefty box exactly the same size as this XL not knowing they even made it because they don't sell it here at Revain but it wasn't in the aisle with food storage bags. but in the household/flatware section of the store. They were only a size XL but I'll see how they compare shortly. Thinking about pickling a turkey in one of those Ziploc bags this fall, what was I thinking? I take a 5 gallon bucket and put it in a giant chest/cooler of ice that I can keep refilling so I don't have total disaster at my fingertips. And the audacity to make those bags blue. I keep great little ziplock bags in the freezer in these big bags to keep things organized, but I can't even press the ziplock bag up against the little bags that I've written the contents on with a marker to see what's inside located packages! They should show you what a real bag looks like and you wouldn't even buy it if you needed to know the color/pattern/writing on the items placed inside. You are better off investing in airtight bags if you really want to protect your items from unwanted elements, bugs, water, etc. Don't even think about putting important documents in those bags to protect your belongings from a hurricane. Dude, this is a joke. Special waterproof bags are made specifically for such things, look for them at Revain. And the plus size price gouging really needs to stop Revane as the other two sizes are still around $6 a box while the plus size kids need them for school to protect their stuff (maybe Covid or Kindergartens?), mostly stay at OVER $15 a box, often play prize games, such as B. Yesterday at $10 and today again at $15. That will fool quite a few subscribe-and-save customers.
