Review on SportRack SR5527 Adjustable Carrier 24 Inch by Gabriel Rosenberg

Overall I am incredibly happy with this purchase. This temporary, easy-to-install solution is perfect for both quick trips to local lakes and interstate travel. The poles and foam pads held up well and kept the kayak secure. I've used it dozens of times with no permanent damage to the roof. Belts are junk. They held the boat perfectly but the ends were badly worn after a few uses and it was difficult to hook the front and rear straps as the hooks could not easily be attached to the strap. Two sets of Sherpak quick loops and some heavier straps from LL Bean solved all problems. Much cheaper than the $600 it would cost to put a real rack on the car.
