Instructions #

Acrylic per se isn't bad. I didn't like the tan paper they put on one side of the stencil. It can't be torn off and it's not transparent .It will be printed on a home computer. The website they point to for instructions doesn't exist.Youtube videos don't help for this pattern. There are two pattern pieces for this. The bell flange at the end is for the tie itself. One long rectangular piece for The Back of the Head You should know the neck size for a human. There is a mark on the rectangular piece. My son had a neck size of 15 1/2" so I have the 8" mark (16 if doubled) and the rectangle uses pieces together like a trumpet.Place the end or mouthpiece of the trumpet on a fold of fabric. This will help trace it on paper, such as the back of gift wrap here. What they tell you in the fine print to look for is that in We need to add 1/4 inch around the seam allowance template. Sew both ends of the long tube. Using forceps, hemostatic forceps, or a tube flipper from Nancy's Introductions, flip it to the right side. Press well. Machine or hand sew the ends of the bow tie.

Pros
  • 1/8" Durable Acrylic
Cons
  • There are new competitors
