Apparently there is a hidden sign on my car that says 'Steal my valve caps' because one or two disappear regularly. I check tire pressures often enough to know they were there a few days ago and now they're gone, and I tighten them enough that they won't fall off on their own. People who are too lazy or too cheap to buy their own need them, so they seek out a vehicle in a parking lot to "borrow". Substitute. As they have a nitrogen symbol on the valve cap no one seems to need them (yet) as they have been around for a few months now. Also, 20 grand should allow me to deal with losses for years to come.
