After the M1 that debased my old monitor with three 27" monitors, I've come to rely more and more on Sidecar. I can use regular iPad stands, which work well enough but take up a lot of desk space. This new stand from Twelve South is a much better alternative, especially if you're using a table clamp. slide the iPad Pro 12.9 in and out, but at least it doesn't fall out), and even when you're not using the desk clamp, the desk space is minimal and the base can be used to rest things on it. Personally, I put a HomePod underneath and pass the iPad's sound through it. It shakes a bit when using touch surfaces, so be aware if you're constantly touching your iPad instead of using it in Sidecar or with a keyboard and mouse; I think that's basically true of any design like this.
