Review on 🌡️ Maverick Housewares CT-02 Redi-Chek Digital Candy/Oil/Deep Fry Thermometer in Black by Jessica Wallace

The Maverick thermometer is made of metal so thin it could cut your fingers if handled carelessly. The metal on the clip is even thinner and has a rough edge that actually cut my finger a bit. The clamp is not made of spring steel or is too thin to have spring properties so it doesn't hold well to the pot wall. I bought it based on good reviews and a slightly higher price than other models (hoping for better quality). I have since purchased a similar Taylor thermometer that is made of thicker metal.
