Works great. The controller is a little difficult to understand if you're not already familiar with it, and the instructions are pretty vague. The controller itself works as it should. Combined with "-100-1250C 13mm Threaded 5mm K-Type Thermocouple Temperature Probe" and 18.64 feet of 18 gauge TEMCo Kanthal wire, this system forms a fine oven capable of putting out 1500 watts while delivering 12.5 draws amps at 120 volts. I have used this with "URBEST® DC to AC Single Phase Solid State Relay SSR-40DA 40A 90-480V AC + Heat Sink" but I think it will work with any SSR-40DA relay. If you wish to use this with a solid state relay you will need to purchase either the TA4-SNR or the TA4-SSR. Much luck!
