They are well suited for industrial switches

Accurate description. They feel sturdy and have worked so far. I haven't posted them in my outdoor project yet, but I'd feel better if they came with an o-ring to keep the weather out. Don't expect three knobs to fit through a thick cap as the threaded shank is fairly short, 1/4" maybe a bit longer.
