very efficient and sensitive. A simple touch on the glass disables the alarm, it takes away the worry of anyone sneaking in while I'm home and I think it will deter any burglar. In fact, it freaked me out when I forgot to turn it off and (I opened the back door by just turning the door, but I didn't turn it on. (THAT'S REALLY EARRING NOISE!)
