I just moved and needed to buy a set of kitchen utensils. I keep finding I need to update them. The pliers, my most used tool, melted at the tips. I thought it was heat resistant silicone. So I had to buy another pair of pliers. A vegetable peeler is useless, not sharp enough to peel anything. The grater is also unusable. The ice cream spoon is also bad. The pizza knife is barely sharp. I would buy a cheaper set if I knew what I know now. They're great for starting out with an empty kitchen (some of them), but you'll end up replacing whatever you use frequently with a better version anyway.
