Review on D Link 8 Port Gigabit Desktop DGS 1008G by Shaun Robinson

I've been a long time fan of D-Link products. When I upgraded my home Internet to a 100Mbps line, my 20-year-old switches struggled to keep up with the amount of traffic. I bought two of these D-Link switches, one for my home office and one for my office where I have a few non-WiFi devices. Setup couldn't be simpler - true plug and play. All ports auto-negotiate speed based on your home or office network and no Ethernet crossover cables (if applicable) are required as the ports will also detect and configure accordingly. They have a very low desktop profile and also have holes in the back for wall mounting. I recommend these smart switches for your wired network needs. They are reliable and very easy to set up.
