The phone part alone is worth it

First off I have three of these baby watches now (our original ones died while wearing it in the pool) and we only upgraded (to 4G) this time because our area doesn't have 2G more, which meant the GPS was never accurate. Let me tell you that the difference between this new model and the older versions is huge. Older versions worked well, but the features and customization options for this watch are much more intuitive. They have a flashlight (flashlight) button in the clock settings part, not a separate button on any of the other screens, which I think will confuse most kids looking for it. Although the light itself is quite bright. It's not a powerful beam, but it would be useful if needed. As far as setup goes, it's also a lot easier, although I suspect it's partly because I've done it before, so I knew what to expect. The GPS lagged about a mile for the first two days no matter how many times I sent location directions through the app. I also made sure to send the APN to the watch's phone number, so I was nervous when it kept being inaccurate. HOWEVER the clock is calibrated on the third day and appears to be fairly accurate (except for the room of the house where the clock is now). But I haven't taken it out of my area yet, so I'll have to test that part a bit more. * I will update this review if I find the GPS is disabled as I use it more often since I was when I bought it * The math game is useless. The touchscreen isn't sensitive enough to get answers in the VERY minimal time limit (I couldn't even answer three questions. True, my math skills aren't great, but I'm at least as good as average). 10 years old). However, I wish they had another game or two for kids like they do for non-GPS watches. That's not what I bought this watch for, so to be honest it doesn't bother me. They are slightly thicker than previous models. I felt they were bulky but all my kids (they share a watch) say they don't care including my 6 year old who has very small wrists. a phone for your kid for less than $70 that you can also use to track them. It's worth what you pay for it. I left it on as a backup so if the phone part is more important than the GPS you can buy a cheaper watch*
