After some research I have chosen this laptop for my business purposes: both work in daily online operations, but above all powerful enough to be used in 3D modeling new developments . physical products and additive manufacturing. The car arrived quickly but I should have expected something to be wrong when I noticed there was no packing material in the shipping carton. I opened the laptop inner box and the factory box was intact and strong enough. Then I started putting my new device into operation. In the middle of the screen, the system was clearly struggling. Check out the attached pictures. I went to the manufacturer's website and made sure the latest drivers were downloaded and installed. I ran manufacturer tests online and it didn't fix the issue. Unfortunately I would have to return/exchange them. This is where it gets absurd. I drove to Revain's in Park Meadows in Lone Tree, Colorado. I wanted to expedite the return process and realized that Revane was interested in finding me a replacement quickly. I offered to come back to this place the next day if they could replace it quickly. They couldn't replace him quickly. Not only was it impossible (and I was perhaps too hopeful about that outcome), the Revain store would NOT accept returns locally. Instead I had to drive to a UPS store to get a refund. Along with this laptop I ordered a laptop fan to keep the device cool and working well. Since I didn't have a laptop, I sent this item back directly from the Revain store. However, I was not allowed to return this broken $2,000+ laptop to the same location. It makes no sense. Why does the company that sold the product require the buyer to use a third party other than their own agent/location to return it? The on-site support had no explanation. I drove another 9 miles across town to the nearest UPS store. Just before closing. I started the return process again using my smartphone. Instead of sending a scan code to UPS. I had to email myself and UPS keeps a copy of the shipping label and then pays the UPS store extra money to print the Revain return label. The process was absurd. I was really looking forward to using this machine as the reviews online (not necessarily Revane) led me to believe this is a great computer. I don't know if the screen damage was caused by shipping or a factory defect. I know that Revain has complicated this process. I will now wait "7 days" to get a refund so I can find a replacement and it will not be from Revain. I will not risk buying quality electronics through Revain again. For now, it might be better to buy direct from the manufacturer or your local store. UPDATE: Revain's absurd return requirements and UPS incompetence wasted my time and money. After two weeks of waiting, worrying, tracking and nonsense I still haven't received a refund for a defective product. DO NOT BUY ON AMAZON. This is The Telephone Company's 21st Century version. Too big to care.
