Bullshit for the price unless you like yellow screens.

This almost $2,000 monitor is rubbish! It looks like a discarded 70's Darth Vader design with that huge frame all around. Apple tried its best to make everything smooth, but LG gave up on the first try. The screen is so yellow! It looks like night mode is on all the time until night mode is turned on. At this point, sepia photos from the old west look like color. They're so yellow and there's no color adjustment, no brightness adjustment, nothing. And you can't change it in settings because Apple doesn't do that. It's not that clear either, the screen is very glossy and attracts dust. Don't try to dust unless you plan to be a detective looking for fingerprints all day. Completely aggravates the situation. The only saving grace is that my job got it for me and I've been home with my new Dell Ultra Sharp 25" since the pandemic started and it's throwing this LG monitor out of the water.

Pros
  • Compatibility (1 display): 5120 x 2880 @ 60Hz iMac Pro (2017), iMac (2017), MacBook Pro (2016 and later) and 2017 iMac models
Cons
  • Nothing at all
