My budgie used to be a seed addict and after trying unsuccessfully to switch him to Zupreem Natural and then Roudybush I decided to give it a try. My budgie took a few bites the first day they were in her cage which was huge as she never touched other pellets. Now she has almost completed the switch to pellets and is doing very well! I think the small size of these pellets plays a big part in why she eats them. They are almost as big as millet. My only complaint is that the price of these pellets is ridiculous. It seems to have gone from $17 to $25 and unfortunately the last time I had to buy them they were over $25. I would understand the price even if it was Β£2 but it's too much for a small Β£1 package. In short these are great pellets but I would recommend getting your bird to eat other healthier natural foods. brands before you buy them because the price difference is crazy. This is how I would do it if my budgie wasn't so picky.
