I am not familiar with pampas grass and ordered it on the recommendation of an interior designer. Upon opening the package (pampas wrapped in plastic and then placed in a spacious box) the pampas came out with broken stems and horrible shedding. As a previous reviewer noted, the stems are very thin and the lack of extra protection during packaging made them prone to flexing. I have some very short pieces that I don't know what to do with as the goal was to put the pampas in a vase. Overall I am disappointed that I received a kit of something but only part of it can be usable/presentable.
