NOT SKID RESISTANT for my opinion

I bought this for the non-skid feature but was disappointed. It is skid resistant on only one side but very slippery on the other side. This does me no good. My item sat well on the non-skid side but then the entire mat, item and all, easily slid and slipped all over the counter. I tried turning the mat over but that only meant that the mat would not slide over the counter but the item sitting on top of the mat would slip and slide at the slightest touch. What good is it to have a non-skid feature on only one side? This mat is of no use to me.
