Ants need food, but (depending on what you feed them) the food gets moldy after a while and looks gross on the farm. Also, since no queen was sent, please note that your ants will only live for a few weeks. You have to pay shipping to have the ants shipped to you (about $7) and the company will NOT ship the ants if the temperature in your area is not in the right range. This is especially important to note if you are ordering them for training because if there are no approved rates in your area, the ants will not be sent to you and your order will be delayed until they match the rates. In general the farm is ok and the tunnels are easy to see through the transparent plastic.
