Each tube is nearly 20 inches long, which is longer than most. Light, "cold" white color looks very good. Long power cord. (about 10 feet long) - Sealed at the top and bottom of each tube. The bad: - The tubes are quite flimsy - I would handle them carefully to avoid cracking - The wires go straight to the top of each tube so you have to be careful. Don't pull the wire too tight. As is usual with these types of lamps, there are only about 20 inches between the individual tubes. Output at the end of the line to connect another set of lamps. Bottom line: I've been using these Meteor style lights for Christmas decorations for about 5 or 6 years now and have probably tried a half dozen or more brands over the years. I usually connect the wire along the line to vary the spacing between the lights and actually use thin steel cable to hang the string of lights between the trees. If you try to hang these lamps with just a very thin power cord, there's a good chance you'll pull out the wires and break the circuit. Line. Having 20 lights in a set, especially with those longer 20" tubes, was one of the reasons I ordered this set. The power connector can be removed from the adapter so you can connect it to the end of a different line if you are using more than one set. I tested this set with the adapter that came with it and it worked great, but I was also very happy that this set was connected to the end of another set I was using from a completely different company (a set of 10 12-inch -tubes). ). I should note that the timing of each lamp does NOT have to be the same - they look best when they are all turned on and off at different times. They start up synchronously when first turned on, but within about 1-2 minutes they all light up out of sync due to a slight time difference. This set was as colorful as any sets I've used and was a great addition to the other 30 or 35 whistles I had hanging from the trees in my front yard. If you look at my photo, this set is circled in red and hangs about 15 feet off the ground. Overall I am very happy with these lights. One star because the plastic tubes are very flimsy, but if they survive this season and weather the sun, snow and wind unscathed, they'll be worth the price ($35).
