I recommend this product to anyone living in cooler climates. The sun CAN melt some materials, which unfortunately doesn't happen, but it does, especially if it's a window that could potentially get hot. I live in Southern California and it was great being here in bipolar weather. I have had this product since September 2018. Decided to do a review today as it has officially been 6 months. I haven't removed the bracket since I first installed it. So far, so good! The only downside I have with this product is that the hand is gradually losing the ability to stably hold my phone at the height I prefer. However, with a metal frame, my phone case is VERY heavy and riding on bumpy roads might just be part of the wear and tear. All in all, a great magnetic mount for the Tesla Model 3. It holds the tablet perfectly. The photos I've attached show one of the best ways to use it. It can be adjusted and bent in different directions. Also, I don't use the metal sheets that come with phone cases. I use a metal ring on the top of the phone case as it works like a pop jack when it's not there. ****UPDATE July 2nd, 2020: I am currently repurchasing this product because my current mount from my April 2019 review is now a little non sticky. My mount has lasted so long because it's not directly next to a window that gets constant sunlight when parked. That way the car isn't too hot for the glue to melt, as some reviews mention. However, the glue will lose its purpose over time, like mine. I've flushed/cleaned and can reinstall my current mount, but it will eventually fall off when I get in and out of shaded areas a few minutes after parking in and out of the car in this California summer weather. I'm going to use an old mount on my desk as a regular phone stand as the adhesive is still fine indoors.
