Lint removers are nothing new to me. I have had an inexpensive shaver (Evercare Fabric Shaver - battery operated) for over 5 years with no problems like the ones I have had with this unit. I have worked a lot with an Evercare device, so I chose a rechargeable device to save batteries. This lint remover didn't come cheap - at an average price point. It's easy to use, but everything else about this product is unacceptable. First, the instructions don't help at all. You cannot use it when plugged in, lint will collect around the edge of the razor and also around the blades. This causes fabric tears and I have continued cleaning by blowing the lint out of the blade block and removing it with my fingers. from all over the edge. After two pairs of children's socks, the motor usually starts to falter. Worst of all, I've damaged more items in the last few months than I have in 5+ years with a cheap model. I have ruined several children's pajamas, children's shirts and many children's socks. I think this is the worst lint remover on the market, I do not recommend buying this razor.
