I bought this universal remote for my mum's Sony TV after she kept complaining that the remote that came with her TV didn't work even after How did she change the batteries? I was trying to order this universal remote as it was supposed to work with their Sony TV model and I didn't need to try to program it. When I received it I immediately tried it on my Sony TV with batteries (not included) and was very impressed. I gave it to my mum and it worked great on her Sony TV too (another Sony TV model #). You just have to lightly touch the controls and it works so perfectly that I decided to buy it for myself. There are never enough TV remote controls. Love it. I can only recommend that.
