That's how it should be from the start
When properly connected you will hear a popping noise and it will not slide up. I love how my PS5 looks. I have no doubt that in a few years Sony will make a "professional" version and make it black, but for now it will definitely fit. 10/10 If I had another PS5 I would buy two
