Looks very expensive Multipurpose timer scale

This is my first digital kitchen scale and it looks much better and more accurate than my analog ones. So easy to use and the LCD backlight is a blessing on my aged eyes :). It is very easy to use: only 3 buttons (up, down and timer setting) in addition to the ON/OFF button. The digital LCD display is divided into 3 lines: the main middle line shows the current weight in larger font and the top line in smaller font shows the timer as well as the room temperature at each end. The selected units (kg, lb, oz, ml and g) are displayed in the lower line. Note that kg and lb are only displayed if the weight is greater than kg when grams is selected as the unit and lb when ounce is selected. Simply press the Unit or Down button to switch between oz, ml and g. You can press and hold the T-Set button under the ON/OFF button to set the timer, then use the up or down arrow buttons to set the time minutes and seconds. When setting the timer, remember to press the T-set button to select each digit (00:00) each time. Once the timer has expired, a not too loud beep will let you know that the time has expired. In addition, a short press on this T-set toggles the room temperature between C and F. The up arrow or Z/T button is used to tare or zero the scale when using the supplied stainless steel weighing pan or some other containers. . This is a very nice stainless steel bowl by the way, very durable, thick but not too heavy (278g). The chrome or stainless steel base is also very well made, the bottom which houses the two AAA batteries is made of durable plastic along with 4 small non-slip pads making a very balanced and solid base. It should be noted that the room temperature thermometer seems to be a bit off, or maybe it takes some time to calibrate to this scale, but I don't mind as I don't use this gauge for cooking anyway :). Also, it's a very nice and stylish scale for my kitchen that turns itself off after about a minute of inactivity. Much more accurate and definitely an upgrade on my analog scale. It's really easy to read!
