Review on 💡 Tripp Lite TLP808B Surge Protector Power Strip, 8-Outlet, 8ft Cord, Right Angle Plug, Black - Lifetime Insurance Coverage by Edris Holwell

UPDATE - 2019-07-19: PURE GARBAGE! I used to be very happy with Tripp Lite products. I have had 12-15 Tripp Lite products in the last 8-10 years and this is the only product I am completely dissatisfied with. However, two connectors failed mechanically and two other plastic sliders/connectors failed. Most of what we buy today is made abroad. Some providers still perform decent quality control while others don't. The quality control of the product I received was definitely lacking. The white man in my wife's office had no problems. The black in the living room fell out after only six months of use. Very disappointing. PRO: Looks good. CONS: The two plastic inserts (kid proof?) covering the socket underneath kept coming loose with the plug when unplugged. Now one of the sockets is resisting insertion of the plug and it has become very difficult to remove the plug. I have stopped using this product as a potential hazard. CONCLUSIONS - RECOMMENDATIONS: I probably got a lemon. These products have received many very good reviews. I've had good luck with several Tripp Lite products over the years both at home and in the workshop. I will probably buy Tripp Lite again but I am completely dissatisfied with this particular product and will not be using it again.
