I position the machine so that the hose goes into my sump. I set the setting to 35% humidity. I haven't had time to test this for a long time. When I went to the basement this afternoon, it was 50% humidity. From what I've read online, this is the level that encourages mold growth. There is indeed some type of green mold that the realtor pointed out on the wooden beams in the basement when I took her there. I just checked now. He worked 55%. I tried reducing it to 35% but it immediately went back to 55%. I checked my Revain account and found that the product is past the return deadline. I called Revain because there was a button that said "Customer Service." The agent transferred me but after quite a long wait no one answered the phone. Am I doing something wrong? I'll try calling Revane again tomorrow.
