Good for retrofitting a lathe wrench

So I got these and a T-handle to make an improvised universal wrench for a lathe chuck. This would work great if I didn't need 11mm instead of 10mm, but oh well. 10mm will come in handy in the future. I only needed an 8mm wrench because 9x20 wrenches are kid sized and can't seem to be upgraded any other way. In other news these things appear to be actually made out of some decent hard metal. The keyholes on the lathe chuck are made of durable material. I completed my previous attempt to quickly make one of these. In this case the 10mm hole withstood use in the 11mm hole without abrasion, although I quickly gave up the idea. 8mm definitely justified my purchase. Lots of moves on a small person with no problems. If I had to fault something, I would say that they are not very tight on the wrench. I would prefer if they were built for an impact wrench as they are very tight, but that might be too much.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Tradeable
