Unfortunately the faucet didn't work

I ordered a faucet and paid a plumber to install it in our new kitchen. After installation, I turned on the faucet and the water pressure was almost zero. Very slow decline. My plumber removed the faucet and checked the water lines and confirmed that there was strong hot and cold pressure in both lines going to the sink faucet. Unfortunately, my return period has expired and I will have to pay the costs. That aside the faucet has a great look and is very modern and if functional it would be a great purchase and addition to our new kitchen.
